We stayed in 2H Aug, a family of 4 , kids 8 and 4. Hotel is rather quiet as compared to other places packed with kids, animation is not that loud. We spent about ½ of the time traveling by rented car in a hunt for free a slot in one of the great beaches that are overcrowded starting from 930am. Local beach is fine, pool is good as well for kids learning to swim. On the local beach you can rent kayak, paddle, or a dinghy/cat – it is wise to book at least a day ahead (except paddle boards). Food is OK, nothing outstanding, all the time local food in Ciutadella is better, but I think this holds for most of the hotels that offer everything from ice cream and pizza to swordfish and local pastry. At least we somehow limited amount of food we ate…, the only comment would be that they served some version of Jamon only once for whole week – It is not much and peached were of low quality as compared to those we bought at discount price in Mercadona. Room is good as is the service, however, we got sheets only for 3 beds despite we were 4 in the family apartment (the smaller version of what they offer). Sound insulation was OK, but all depends on neighbors – we had good ones and this was impression we had from all guests in the hotel. Please note that in the apartments the bedroom seems better protected from structural noise than living room. We had a room 130 with view to the surrounding bush which we liked a lot, evenings were silent . We definitely recommend – only those that put great emphasis on all day animation, do like huge events, and need super extra dining should expect sound but average performance in those areas.
